I don't want to go to school tomorrow Mummy

Or I don't want to go back to work tomorrow dammit!!!
Holidays are over :(
Here's a recap of what we've done...
We bought a BBQ!

We cooked mushrooms on it (remove stalk, add salt and wait!)

Spent an afternoon making Pumpkin Cinnabons (from Don't Eat Off The Sidewalk)

Got Hell Pizza takeaway.  I wasn't a fan of cooked avocado (Cam was):

Scarfed down kumara chips with the pizza.  Fuck yeah....

Visited Kuan Yin (my office moved to the valley, but I still visit on holidays!).  There's some cool new menu items including:
Salt and Pepper Calamari (made with rehydrated shiitakes - we think):
Sald and Pepper Oysters
Spicy Calamari
Spicy Calamari
And people say vegan food is boring?  HA!!!!
Hope no-one else is as sad as I am to be returning to the coal mines.....

Looks like a productive and delicious holiday. I am salivating. I don't want to go back to work either. Ugh. I'm kind of dreading it.

Mmmm I want fries and salt and pepper calamari! I think I'll have to experiment! YUM!

Sorry to hear you're going back to work. Remember though that holidays aren't always a holiday (not when you have 3 fighting and arguing children at home for 2 months straight :P)

Being back at work is blerg! I need more holidays!

And we bought a bbq too, though ours is smaller and I need to try cooking big mushies on it now too!

Oooh... new food at Kuan Yin? I must go there. Though it is hard to resist the goodness of their sweet and sour 'pork'.

I did not know that Hell's Kitchen had a vegan pizza option. And yay that their kumara chips are vegan friendly too! I might have to go to the Carindale one, methinks.

Sounds like you had a good holiday! I never actually left work, so I didn't have the back to work blues after the holidays LOL
