First off, congradulations! Sedcondly, sorry for the irrelevant post, but... WHAT HAPPENED TO IT?!!! My mother lives in Brisbane, so I visit her every now and then and one of my favorite things about visiting Brisbane was going to the ID Cafe in Chinatown. So I came back to Brisbane for the first time in a year and half, all stoked about going to the cafe and then it wasn't there, and I was very sad. Inquiring about it around the neighboring stores revealed that it had closed. Desperate for information on it, and being unable to recall its name I scoured the net for "brisbane chinatown dessert cafe" before finally chancing upon the name. Searching for "id cafe" resulted in my discovery of your blog. Hence my inquiry here. Thanks.
I was very sad too when ID Cafe closed. We've been having cooking classes from the couple who owned it for about 18 months (on and off). I think we've posted the dumplings and malaysian curry recipes. I know we have more, we just haven't had much of a chance to standardise them (Clement, the cook, doesn't measure!)...... I'll see what we can do.

I've been in busines school since september 2007. I can relate to excited but poor (and usually a bit sleep-deprived...)
I think it is super-exciting that a vegan is entering the establishment... way to go (at law school :-))
Congratulation! Sorry to hear you'll be poor for a while though!

Ok, first up, great stuff on getting into law school and one day maybe being able to advance the vegan cause through law.
but the real reason i wrote is to ask - do you cater? ; ) (alright, just in case - i'm kidding.)
