VeganMoFo - Tuesday 14th October 2008

Brinner!  And the return of our little friend....
Brinner
As you can see I restrained him behind a specially designed metal bar to prevent him from stealing the feast of: baked beans, fried 'shrooms and spinach, ginger and apple waffles, tofu bacon and a hash brown.  I wussed out and ate the waffles separately (sorry - don't get the sweet and savoury thing).
The tofu bacon and waffles are bastardized versions of recipes from Vegan With A Vengeance.  Yum!

Can I come over to yours? That looks *amazing*.

I just bought a waffle maker, and I can't wait to start making waffles too!

Mmmm YUM! Heh, I just used your post to try and convince Mr UnVeg that he really should give "Brinner" a try (he won't, but that doesn't mean I can't enjoy it on my own...means more for me mwah ha ha ha haaa...ahem).

And yay! EAR is back! Hi EAR! You were missed!!!

Is EAR sitting in a cookbook holder? You know the ones that keep your page open while you're cooking?

Yup - he is in a cookbook holder Theresa!!!

Vegetation - am I going to have to send you your very own EAR (after exams)?

Hey Dude!
You’ve been tagged in a game of ‘What’s in your (vegan) freezer.

Check out http://iamnotarabbit.blogspot.com/2008/10/whats-in-your-vegan-freezer.html for instructions.

And if you’ve already been tagged by somebody else then- aren’t you the popular one ;o)

I want a heart shaped vegan waffle maker more than I've ever wanted anything. Except maybe this dress I saw at Anthropologie once.

That's quite the plate of food. I am a huge fan of waffles. So far I am addicted to the chocolate brownie waffles from Veganomicon. I have to say, anything made small and in heart shape form is instantly cuter.

I've had a waffle maker ever since our wedding day (five years ago tomorrow!) and never used it, despite growing up with waffle dinners every now and then. You've inspired me to dust off the box! Love your cute friends, too :)
