Or I don't want to go back to work tomorrow dammit!!!
Holidays are over :(
Here's a recap of what we've done...
We bought a BBQ!
We cooked mushrooms on it (remove stalk, add salt and wait!)
Mmmmm juicy goodness....
Made a BBQ tofu sandwich!
Watch out for the evil potato!!!!
Spent an afternoon making Pumpkin Cinnabons (from Don't Eat Off The Sidewalk)
Got Hell Pizza takeaway. I wasn't a fan of cooked avocado (Cam was):
Scarfed down kumara chips with the pizza. Fuck yeah....
Visited Kuan Yin (my office moved to the valley, but I still visit on holidays!). There's some cool new menu items including:
Salt and Pepper Calamari (made with rehydrated shiitakes - we think):
Spicy Calamari
And people say vegan food is boring? HA!!!!
Hope no-one else is as sad as I am to be returning to the coal mines.....

Hang in there!!
Looks like a great holiday!
Looks like a productive and delicious holiday. I am salivating. I don't want to go back to work either. Ugh. I'm kind of dreading it.
Yum, BBQ!!! Good luck going back to school, hope it's not too harsh!
Mmmm I want fries and salt and pepper calamari! I think I'll have to experiment! YUM!
Sorry to hear you're going back to work. Remember though that holidays aren't always a holiday (not when you have 3 fighting and arguing children at home for 2 months straight :P)
A new BBQ! So exciting. That sandwich looks delicious!
Have fun with it.
Being back at work is blerg! I need more holidays!
And we bought a bbq too, though ours is smaller and I need to try cooking big mushies on it now too!
i freaking love kuan yin! it's my number one brisbane food destination
hell yeah. i dream about coffee frappes
i wasn't too keen on going back to work monday either... alas. what can be done about it? looks like you had a rockin' holiday full of loads of yumminess!
Everything looks delicious.
Oooh... new food at Kuan Yin? I must go there. Though it is hard to resist the goodness of their sweet and sour 'pork'.
I did not know that Hell's Kitchen had a vegan pizza option. And yay that their kumara chips are vegan friendly too! I might have to go to the Carindale one, methinks.
Sounds like you had a good holiday! I never actually left work, so I didn't have the back to work blues after the holidays LOL
This all looks so tasty! My GOODNESS!! GO VEGANS!
